1) What is the difference between coaching and consulting?
Coaching helps you build clarity, mindset, communication, and consistent follow-through through a structured growth process.
Consulting provides expert analysis, strategy, and implementation support for specific personal or organizational goals and problems.
2) Do you provide therapy or clinical mental health treatment?
No. True Connections provides coaching and consulting services only. Services do not include therapy, diagnosis, or clinical treatment.
3) Who do you work with?
True Connections works with individuals, couples, leaders, professionals, teams, and small businesses.
4) What issues can coaching help with?
Common areas include life direction, confidence, mindset, emotional wellness, stress, resilience, relationships, communication, career growth, leadership growth, and work-life balance.
5) What issues can consulting help with?
Consulting supports strategy, management challenges, organizational development, change management, process improvement, workplace communication, leadership development, conflict resolution, and burnout resilience planning.
6) Do you offer online sessions?
Yes. Services are available both online and in person in Sandpoint, Idaho.
7) How long are sessions?
Typical session length is 50 minutes for individual coaching, 75 minutes for couples coaching, and 60 minutes for consulting.
8) How often do sessions happen?
Most clients meet weekly or every other week, depending on goals, complexity, and preferred pace. Many clients start weekly for 4 to 6 sessions, then shift to biweekly.
9) How long do clients usually work with you?
Engagement length varies by need. Some clients choose a focused short-term plan, while others continue longer for deeper growth and accountability. Many clients work together for 1 to 3 months to build momentum, then adjust from there.
10) What happens during the first call?
The discovery call focuses on your goals, current challenges, and desired outcomes. You will discuss fit, recommended next steps, and whether coaching, consulting, or both is the best approach.
11) How much do services cost?
Rates depend on service type and format.
- Discovery call: Free, 15 to 20 minutes
- Individual coaching: $125 per 50-minute session
- Couples coaching: $165 per 75-minute session
- Consulting: $175 per 60-minute session
- Packages: 5% to 10% savings when prepaid
- Group coaching and workshops: Custom quote
- Sliding fee scale: Limited reduced-fee slots are available for local clients with financial hardship. Ask during the discovery call.
12) Do you offer packages or only single sessions?
Both are available.
- Single sessions: Available as needed
- Short-term packages: 4-session Momentum Package or 8-session Growth Package
- Ongoing support: Monthly Maintenance after initial progress
13) What is your cancellation policy?
Appointments can be rescheduled or canceled with at least 24 hours notice. Late cancellations and missed sessions are charged in full unless there is an emergency.
14) Is what I share confidential?
Yes. Client information is handled with care and discretion. Confidentiality limits and communication policies are explained in your onboarding documents.
15) Do you provide support for intimacy and relationship concerns?
Yes. Intimacy coaching is available for adults and focuses on communication, confidence, and connection. It is coaching and education focused, not clinical treatment.
16) What if I need therapy or a higher level of care?
If clinical or specialized care is needed, appropriate licensed resources can be recommended.
17) How do I get started?
Email or call to request your free discovery call and include a brief note about your goals. If you are not sure whether coaching or consulting is the best fit, that is okay. The discovery call is the place to sort that out.
